Her work has been exhibited throughout the US and China. \nShe has taught painting and drawing in various colleges including the University of New Hampshire. \nIn 2007 Shiao-Ping won a Fellowship at Vermont Studio Center. In 2008 she won the Spotlight Award for Best Painter in the Seacoast. \n\nSee an Ogunquit Art Association interview with Shiao-Ping Wang: CLICK HERE! \nLEARN MORE: shiao-ping.com \nAbout Shaune McCarthy – Painter\n\n\nMy paintings and sculptures are a consequence of experimentation\, spontaneity\, imagination\, play\, and of course hard work. \nI think being an artist means trusting your instincts and allowing your imagination to show you the path into the unknown. That’s where I want to be with my art. I want to make something no one\, not even me\, has seen before. \nWhen I begin a painting I usually have very little idea where I’ll be going with it. I find that if I attempt to plan a painting or even sketch an idea beforehand I get bored and it never appears like the plan anyway. I endeavor to stay alert to any story which unfolds before my eyes and especially open to those happy accidents which happen if you’re experimenting and staying free. \n\n\nSee an Ogunquit Art Association interview with Shaune McCarthy: CLICK HERE! \nLEARN MORE: shaunemccarthy.com \n\nBarn Gallery 2026: Exhibitions\, Gallery Talks\, Workshops\, Demos\, Auction\, More…Learn more about the Barn Gallery 2026 Schedule: barngallery.org/2026-season \nLEARN MOREConnect With #BarnGallery on Instagram\n\n	\n	\n \n	\n \n You're invited to the Opening Reception at Barn Ga\n \n \n	\n\n	\n \n Join us at Barn Gallery in Ogunquit\, Maine on Thur\n \n \n	\n	\n\n	\n\n	\n \n \n \n \n Follow on Instagram
