DESCRIPTION:MID-SEASON EXHIBITIONS: This exciting new season of art exhibitions and programs by artists of the Ogunquit Art Association continues with their Mid-Season Exhibitions — which include the annual “Regional Artists: An Open\, Juried Show” (download prospectus here) — running Wednesday\, June 24th through Saturday July 25th (with an Opening Reception on Saturday\, June 27th from 4-7 PM). \nBarn Gallery is located at 3 Hartwig Lane in Ogunquit\, Maine — at the corner of Shore Road & Bourne Lane. \nAdditional Information About the Mid-Season Exhibitions at Barn GalleryRECEPTION: Join us on Saturday\, June 27th 2026 (from 4-7 PM) for our “Opening Reception for Mid-Season Exhibitions”. Admission to the Reception is FREE. \nBarn Gallery will show the work of Artist Members of the OAA (painters\, graphic artists\, photographers\, and sculptors) in our big\, bright\, cool\, and airy spaces. \nThe Sculpture Court will show work of the OAA Sculptors as well as the work of Invited New England Sculptors \nOur Mid-Season Exhibitions will feature: “Ogunquit Art Association Members’ Show” (an exhibition with a wide variety of subject and medium); Regional Artists: An Open\, Juried Show (This annual exhibition is one of Barn Gallery’s most anticipated annual exhibitions. The Open\, Regional\, Juried Show brings together outstanding emerging and established artists from across New England. Juried selections are presented alongside OAA works and invited sculptors\, offering a dynamic and wide-ranging survey of contemporary regional art. The 2026 iteration will be juried by Pamela Moulton (Posey)\, a Maine-based environmental artist known for her large-scale installations made from salvaged materials and exhibited nationally and internationally. CLICK HERE FOR THE PROSPECTUS); our Expanded Collectors Gallery (featuring ready-to-hang artwork\, no larger than 16×20 — and all priced no higher than $850); plus an Invited New England Sculptors exhibit in our outdoor Sculpture Court. \nAlthough there is no substitution for seeing art in person\, we are pleased to announce that virtual versions of our exhibitions will be made available on barngallery.org. DESCRIPTION:Join us at Barn Gallery in Ogunquit\, Maine on Wednesday\, July 15th 2026 for a free “Watercolor Demonstration” (at 6pm) led by Ogunquit Art Association artist-member Dustan Knight. \nALSO: Join us at Barn Gallery in Ogunquit\, Maine on Thursday\, July 16th 2026 (from 10am – 3pm) for an inspiring “Watercolor Workshop – BIG LOOSE AND EASY WATERCOLORS – Watercolor Flowers” led by Knight. \nSuggested Workshop donation: $75 \nPreregistration recommended. Please sign up to reserve your spot — this class is limited in number so everyone gets plenty of room to paint. Call Barn Gallery (207-646-8400).  \nAdditional InformationCome join professional artist + educator Dustan Knight as she presents a workshop focused on the art of watercolor. \nI am a professional artist MFA who\, having retired from many years as an Art Professor at the NH Institute of Art\, now work full-time in my studio at the Button Factory in Portsmouth NH. \nPlease come join me for a day of fun art making as we create big flowers in watercolor. \nThis workshop celebrates the brilliant color of the watercolor medium. There is not much drawing but there is an emphasis on how to arrange shapes and colors. I will demonstrate how to plan and design a big floral painting and the best way to paint it. She earned her Masters in Fine Art from Pratt Institute in NYC and her MA in Art History from Boston University. She is a recipient of a NH State Fellowship for the Arts\, a MacDowell Colony residency\, and a past Cummington Artist Colony resident. Dustan is represented by galleries across the US\, including Art Three in Manchester\, the Ogunquit Art Association in Maine. She’s a contributing writer to Art New England\, a frequent juror\, and gives demonstrations and workshops in watercolor\, art business\, and art history. Her work has appeared in Watercolor Magazine\, Daniel Smith\, Cheap Joe’s and Ampersand Insider Newsletters.
