Dear Friends,

Your enthusiasm and support for our exhibitions and programs reinforce our conviction that, in an increasingly virtual society, there is no substitute for personal interaction with art and artists.

Thank you to our many visitors – old and new – who came to enjoy the exhibitions, the receptions and our artist gallery talks, panel discussions and hands-on workshops.

In 2023 we will again be open from mid May through early October. We will have four exhibitions with receptions and six artist showcases.

We will begin with the Student Show which features artwork K-12 from area schools.

The Open Juried Show (OJS) will be back in July. Anyone can enter this prestigious open exhibition. Be ready!

The expanded Collectors Gallery will continue to feature mini-exhibitions of framed and matted work by OAA artists.

We are looking forward to another season of artist talks and panel discussions as well as workshops – some familiar and some brand new.

Check out our website at barngallery.org to revisit our 2022 season and preview 2023. The full schedule will be available May 1, 2023.

We are thankful for our community and for the many who visited this past season. Barn Gallery’s exhibitions by local artists are an important part of the broader heritage of the arts in Maine.

Each year we count on the generosity of our Friends and visitors to support Barn Gallery’s artistic mission and its historic building.

Your tax-deductible donations to the OAC, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation, support the exhibitions and programs of Barn Gallery itself and the Barn’s continuing contribution to the lively arts community of the Southern Maine Seacoast.

Please consider how much Barn Gallery offers you and our community.
