A grand and long-standing tradition returned to Ogunquit, Maine this past weekend as Barn Gallery mounted the 42nd Annual Student Art Show.
Color, creativity, and the boundless imagination of young artists were all in ample supply at Barn Gallery from May 6th through 8th, 2022 as K-12 students from Southern Maine Seacoast area elementary, middle and high schools exhibited their latest works of art.
Over the decades, three generations of area families have participated in the Annual Student Art Shows at Barn Gallery. The young artists who participated in the exhibition this year were delighted, as were many of their parents and grandparents before them, to have their artwork in a “real” gallery.
This 2022 Student Art Show at Barn Gallery featured a notable depth of work across a broad variety of media and subjects. Landscapes/seascapes. Portraits, Animals, Still Life, Design, Photography, Sculpture, Jewelry, All Media and more!
We had a great crowd at the Reception AND over the entire weekend.
All – student artists, extended families and art educators – were happy to see the exhibition return this year and are looking forward to the next Barn Gallery Student Art Show (Number 43) in 2023!
