The summer art scene in Ogunquit was sizzling hot on Saturday, August 13th as Barn Gallery hosted the Gala Reception for their Late Summer Exhibitions to showcase the recent work of Ogunquit Art Association artist-members.
This well-attended event represented the perfect opportunity for members of the regional art scene to connect in person for an evening of convivial conversation, Ogunquit Art Colony culture, and the appreciation of a gallery full of noteworthy artworks.
Exhibitions included “OAA Expressions” (an exhibition with a wide variety of subject and medium), showcases by Kimberly Meuse, Painter; and Christopher Gowell, Painter/Sculptor, all of the work in Barn Gallery’s Expanded Collectors Gallery, plus the Sculpture Court (which shows work of the OAA Sculptors as well as the work of Invited New England Sculptors).
These festive exhibition receptions at Barn Gallery in Ogunquit are always such exceedingly positive and joyfully memorable events where the focus is always on the art! Be sure to attend our next one! All are welcome!

Visit Barn Gallery in Ogunquit, Maine 7 Days a Week (Monday – Saturday 11 AM – 5 PM and Sunday 1 – 5 PM) until October 10, 2022.
A Gallery Talk by artists Meuse and Gowell will commence on Thursday, August 18th 2022 at 6 PM.
The Second Gala Reception for our Late-Summer Exhibitions will be on Saturday, September 17th 2022 from 4-7:30 PM and will feature a Memorial Exhibition celebrating the work of Evelyne Harper Neill.
These Exhibitions, Receptions, and Gallery Talks at Barn Gallery in Ogunquit, Maine are all FREE events and open to the public.
