Join us at Barn Gallery on Thursday, June 16 (at 6 PM) for a Barn Gallery Talk by two of our Opening Exhibition Showcase Artists: Rose Sielian Theriault (Painter/Printmaker) and Deloris White (Printmaker).

Meet the artists, see their work, learn about their processes, and ask questions.

These insightful and inspiring Gallery Talks always provide further insight into our exhibitions and give attendees the chance to hear stories + learn tips and tricks from present day juried artist-members of the Ogunquit Art Association, Maine’s Original Artists’ Group (est. 1928).

This is a FREE event and it is open to the public.

About Rose Sielian Theriault (Painter/Printmaker)

“Encompassing a range of subject matter, most of my artwork is the result of direct observation. My gouache seascapes, however, have a special meaning because they derive from impressions accumulated over time, beginning when my children were young. We went to the beach in the late afternoon when the heat was less intense and the sunbathers had dispersed. Inspired by the calming abating sun and the soothing sound of the waves, my real subject is serenity.”

About Deloris White (Printmaker)

“My work reflects detailed views of nature while linking together a variety of materials and processes. Nature provides endless inspiration that I interpret in multiple layers of ink, experimenting with imaginative possibilities. “Reimagine” is the result of opening up to new ideas by combining ghost prints, woodcuts, and monotypes as an example of reinventing my art In the studio, creating new worlds is possible.”
