OAA Member Artists Deidre O’Flaherty (Graphics & Painting) and Michael Palmer (Painting) showcase their work in the North Gallery.

About Deidre O’Flaherty:

“Observation of the world around me has been my inspiration. I am intrigued by the movement and interaction of different media – watching it and going with the flow. My work may begin with free form abstraction and morph into more realistic aspects, or start from a point of reality and then travel in a more intuitive direction. As an artist and teacher I enjoy learning from every experience. It all provides a history of information on which to draw. All the gathered understanding contributes, with a nod to Charles Woodbury, to an artist’s Personal Equation.”

About Michael Palmer:

Michael considers drawing as important or more so, than the painting. Working in general with abstract landscape/architectural imagery he is mostly concerned with design over subject matter.
