Artist Statement
To be happy I must be creative. Making art is my way to connect with the rest of humanity/nature and in that process I find myself. I happily pursue many media and my favorite instrument is whatever is in my hand or at hand. Drawing in ink from live models is still a passion. I am also apt to have a print and/or painting in the works at the same time, which helps satisfy my love of color, composition and creating order out of chaos. Process is important.
