“Painting or drawing challenges and nourishes. Image making brings balance. It is always a challenge. Working from the human figure or the ever changing light in nature is my focus and impetus. In and out and in between comes the quirky intuition that makes it carry some sense of magic. Borrowing from Cezanne, I want to capture the light, the truth and the emotion….the magic.”
