On Saturday evening, September 12th, Barn Gallery in Ogunquit, Maine hosted the opening reception for its 2026 Fall Exhibitions. The gallery filled early, wine and light bites laid out for the crowd of collectors, volunteers still assembling name tags at the front desk as the first guests arrived.

The walls held the season’s last full turn of the OAA Members’ Show: paintings, sculpture, photography, and mixed media from the association’s juried artist-members, gathered into one exhibit as the gallery’s year winds toward its close.

Showcase exhibitions by artist-members Charles Laurier Dufour and Annie Lemieux each had their own dedicated wall. Dufour’s fine art figure photography places nude models within Maine’s landscapes and seascapes, ranging from the purely aesthetic to the deliberately narrative. Lemieux, a lifetime Maine resident working in photography and painting, is drawn to how coastal light shifts across the seasons; she stood for photos in front of her own wall of black-and-white prints during the evening.

Outside in the Sculpture Court, work by OAA sculptors and invited New England artists stood against a backdrop already turning toward fall — one of the last chances this year to see the sculpture garden before the season closes.

If you weren’t able to join us in person, a selection of photos from the evening is below. The Fall Art Exhibitions remain on view at Barn Gallery through Monday, October 12th, the final day of the 2026 season.
